Cox Automotive Crowns Top Technicians After Nationwide Skills Challenge

The finalists faced a rigorous assessment covering everything from electrical systems and braking diagnostics to emerging vehicle technologies. Patrick Brennan, senior vice president of Cox Fleet, noted that the competition highlighted the precise level of professionalism required to maintain large-scale fleets. The winners now prepare to represent the organization at the American Trucking Association's TMC SuperTech competition in Pittsburgh this September.

AJ Snyder of Manheim claimed victory in the Light/Medium Duty category, while Jonathan Kelly from Cox Fleet secured the top spot in Heavy Duty. Dillon Grimes, also representing Cox Fleet, took first place in the Trailer category. These technicians, alongside several specialized station winners, were recognized for their ability to navigate complex systems, including EV high voltage setups and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
