Vizsla Silver Taps FLSmidth for Panuco Project Processing Infrastructure

Vizsla Silver has awarded a major equipment supply contract to FLSmidth for its Panuco silver-gold project in Sinaloa, Mexico. The deal covers essential processing technology for the site, supporting an initial production capacity of 3,300 tonnes per day with built-in flexibility for future expansion plans.

The agreement encompasses eight primary equipment packages, spanning the entire flowsheet from crushing and grinding to refining circuits. Engineering work begins immediately, with a limited notice to proceed already in effect to jumpstart procurement while final contract terms are settled. The equipment configuration is specifically engineered to accommodate a planned capacity increase to 4,000 tonnes per day and the eventual integration of the Napoleon mine in the project's fourth year.

Simon Cmrlec, Chief Operating Officer at Vizsla Silver, noted that the partnership aligns with the capital budget established in the company’s 2025 Feasibility Study. Beyond hardware, the deal includes a life-cycle service component intended to assist with commissioning and operational ramp-up. FLSmidth, which maintains a significant service footprint in Mexico, will provide the technical support necessary to maximize silver recovery across the life of the mine.
