CEO Florian Vogel noted that the expansion reflects a commitment to tackling high-value indications where conventional treatments fall short. This new program joins the company’s lead asset, adibelivir (IM-250), which is currently under development to treat Herpes simplex virus infections. By diversifying its portfolio, the firm aims to secure a stronger position in the broader landscape of herpesvirus-associated care.
