Harvard University, MIT, and Stanford University hold the top three spots globally, maintaining a strong presence for American institutions despite the volume of schools from other regions. Regional leaders include the University of Cape Town in Africa, Tsinghua University in Asia, and the University of Oxford in Europe. The rankings rely on metrics such as international collaboration and citation frequency to determine institutional standing, serving as a resource for students navigating the global academic landscape.
