Following a multi-year restructuring, Fraikin now reports annual revenues nearing €1 billion. The acquisition, expected to close in early 2027, places the company under the stewardship of Asterion, an investment firm with a focus on mid-market European infrastructure. The deal remains subject to standard regulatory approvals and labor consultation processes.
Under new ownership, Fraikin aims to accelerate its transition toward lower-carbon mobility and expand its digital fleet management services. Yves Pétin, CEO of Fraikin, noted that the partnership will prioritize scaling the company’s infrastructure platform across Europe. Bice Di Gregorio, a partner at Asterion, emphasized that the firm intends to leverage its industrial expertise to modernize the fleet and support the broader energy transition. BofA Securities and Lazard served as financial advisors for the outgoing shareholders.
