Wang brings two decades of experience spanning asset tokenization, global macro hedge funds, and investment banking to the Abu Dhabi-headquartered firm. His career includes leadership roles at SGTOX and MetaBank, alongside earlier tenures at Citi and Nomura. He holds a CFA charter and maintains a diverse investment portfolio across several prominent venture firms in the blockchain and fintech sectors.
His arrival follows the resignation of Yehong Ji, who stepped down from the board on August 11, 2026. The company confirmed that the departure was amicable and free of any disputes. Wang’s expertise in intelligent infrastructure and institutional finance is expected to support Robo.ai’s expansion across its primary business pillars, which include artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.
