Nevada King Shareholders Re-elect Board and Approve Plan Renewals

With 65.19% of outstanding shares represented at the August 20 meeting, Nevada King Gold Corp. investors moved to maintain continuity by re-electing the company’s four-member Board of Directors. The vote solidifies leadership as the firm continues development of its flagship Atlanta Gold Mine project in Nevada.

Shareholders voted to return Collin Kettell, John Sclodnick, William Hayden, and Michael Doolin to their positions on the Board. Beyond the board appointments, the meeting served to formalize several administrative mandates, including the renewal of the company’s stock option plan and the reappointment of Davidson & Company LLP as auditors, with the Board retaining authority to fix their remuneration.

The Vancouver-based explorer is currently prioritizing its 130-square-kilometer Atlanta Gold Mine, a past-producing site situated along the Battle Mountain trend. The project holds an NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate of 1,020,000 ounces of gold in the measured and indicated category, supplemented by an additional 99,000 ounces in the inferred category. Operations at the site remain the central focus for the company as it navigates the regulatory and technical requirements of the Lincoln County property.
