Elveo enters the market with a combined 20-year history of direct-to-device innovation, backed by a suite of patented multi-band satellite technologies. The company is positioning itself as a critical infrastructure partner for mobile network operators, offering a resilient alternative for 5G and non-terrestrial networks. With commercial agreements already secured across 60 countries and 50 operators, the firm intends to provide voice, data, and edge compute services directly from orbit.
Chief Executive Officer Ramu Potarazu emphasized that the network’s ability to process and adapt in space marks a fundamental shift in how mobile users access connectivity. Headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area, Elveo will leverage its licensed spectrum footprint to serve consumer, automotive, and government sectors. The merger was supported by key investors including SES, Fortress, and Columbia Capital, with Guggenheim Securities advising on the transaction.
