Dreyer’s Recalls Outshine Fruit Bars Over Glass Contamination Risk

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is pulling select 6-count boxes of Outshine Fruit Bars from nationwide retail shelves due to potential glass fragments. The voluntary recall affects five specific flavors—Strawberry, Watermelon, Grape, Tangerine, and Black Cherry—distributed across the country, though the company confirms no injuries have been reported to date.

The recall focuses on 2.5-ounce paddle bars produced with specific batch codes found at the bottom of the packaging. Affected varieties include Strawberry (UPC 041548610047), Grape (UPCs 041548244044 and 041548000121), Watermelon (UPC 041548413624), and Tangerine (UPC 041548612041). The expiration dates for the impacted units range from June through November 2027.

Customers should check their freezer inventory against the list of batch codes provided on the company website. Those in possession of the affected bars are advised to discard the product immediately or return it to the point of purchase for a full refund. Dreyer’s has established a support channel for consumer inquiries at contactus@us.dreyers.com, emphasizing that no other Outshine products or varieties are involved in this safety action.
