Women’s Wellness of Southern Delaware Reports Patient Data Breach

Patients of Women's Wellness of Southern Delaware are being notified that a former aesthetics provider retained sensitive personal and clinical data after their employment ended. The clinic discovered in late April that the individual used the unauthorized information to solicit patients for a new practice.

Women’s Wellness of Southern Delaware Reports Patient Data Breach

The security incident, disclosed by the Lewes-based clinic on June 26, 2026, involves a range of personal details. For those who received aesthetics services, exposed data may include names, birthdates, contact information, medical histories, photographs, and specific records of purchases or face maps. Clinical service patients may have had their names, contact details, and purchase descriptions compromised. The clinic confirmed that its primary electronic medical record systems were not accessed, as the former provider lacked authorization to reach those platforms.

WWSD has initiated efforts to recover or destroy the retained files and is currently enhancing its internal privacy protocols. Affected individuals are encouraged to monitor their credit reports and account statements for unauthorized activity. The clinic has established a dedicated assistance line at 1-833-788-9712 to address patient concerns, available weekdays from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Eastern Time.
