JetCool Debuts Integrated Liquid-Cooled Dell PowerEdge Server

To solve the thermal bottlenecks hindering enterprise AI, JetCool is launching a turnkey, liquid-cooled version of the Dell PowerEdge XE7745. By integrating its direct-to-chip cooling technology with full lifecycle services and unified warranty coverage, the Flex subsidiary aims to strip away the complexity typically associated with high-density infrastructure deployments.

The new platform targets data centers struggling to keep pace with the power demands of modern AI workloads, specifically those utilizing dual 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors and up to eight NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs. JetCool’s SmartPlate technology manages these intensive loads by removing heat directly from the silicon, which the company claims can sustain up to 8 kW per server.

Beyond raw thermal management, the system offers measurable operational advantages. According to internal metrics, the liquid-cooled configuration reduces CPU temperatures by 7% and GPU temperatures by 11% compared to air-cooled models. Perhaps more critical for facility managers, the solution cuts total server power consumption by up to 30% and lowers acoustic output by 23 dB. Because the system utilizes low-flow operation, enterprises can integrate these units into existing water loops without requiring a complete overhaul of their facility infrastructure.

Bernie Malouin, founder of JetCool and vice president at Flex, emphasized that the goal is to remove the friction from scaling high-density environments. By bundling the hardware with mounting racks, cooling distribution units, and ongoing maintenance, the company provides a single point of accountability for the entire deployment cycle.
