The initiative addresses a persistent obstacle in preventive medicine: low return rates for at-home diagnostic kits. While self-collection offers a path to reach patients outside traditional clinical settings, completion rates often stall in the single digits. SNT Biotech intends to counter this through a comprehensive engagement model that combines patient education with multilingual support, automated reminders, and lab processing within its CLIA and COLA-accredited facilities.
Enabled by the BD Onclarity HPV Assay, the kit identifies 14 high-risk genotypes, providing what the company describes as the most comprehensive screening tool currently available in the U.S. market. Beyond clinical detection, the program integrates real-time dashboards for health plans and providers to track screening progress. This coordination is designed to satisfy federal requirements for coverage, which mandate that self-collected HPV screening be provided at no cost to members by 2027. Shital Daftari, CEO of SNT Biotech, noted that the platform is specifically engineered to assist populations with the least access to traditional care, turning diagnostic innovation into consistent health outcomes.
