Group 1 Automotive Rebrands North Houston Dealership

Operating under the new name since September 22, 2025, the dealership at 17800 North Freeway continues to serve the Spring, The Woodlands, and Tomball areas. Despite the change in branding, the location remains under the same ownership and management that has directed its operations for over two decades. There have been no shifts in staffing or service protocols, ensuring that established customer relationships remain intact.

General Manager Rodney Crow noted that the transition aims to provide clients with a clearer connection to the broader resources and technology of the Houston-based automotive retailer. By aligning the north Houston site with the Group 1 brand, the company seeks to standardize the retail experience across its 250-dealership footprint. This move allows local customers to leverage a national platform for vehicle sales, financing, and maintenance, while retaining the personalized service associated with the facility’s history as Sterling McCall Chevrolet.
