The rebranding, which took effect on April 15, 2026, involves no changes to ownership, personnel, or service offerings. By aligning the dealership with the Group 1 name, the company aims to provide consumers with a more consistent experience across its 250 U.S. and U.K. locations, leveraging the broader resources and technological infrastructure of the parent corporation.
General Manager Paul Christian emphasized that the shift is designed to enhance customer clarity without disrupting existing relationships. The dealership continues to operate out of its facility at 10505 Southwest Freeway, serving the Houston, Bellaire, and Sugar Land areas. While the name on the building has changed, the focus remains on maintaining the same level of service and professional continuity that defined the location under the Sterling McCall brand for over two decades.
