Integracare and Alzheimer Society of Toronto Seal Four-Year Alliance

Since 2017, the two organizations have worked to elevate home-based dementia support. Under the new terms, Integracare will continue to put its staff through the Society’s rigorous five-part curriculum, which includes Dementia Foundations, U-First! programs, Gentle Persuasive Approaches, and Palliative Care in Dementia. Integracare aims to maintain its status as the only local home care provider where 100% of caregivers hold certifications across all five disciplines.

Beyond education, the partnership extends into advocacy and fundraising. Integracare has pledged multi-year sponsorship for the Society’s primary outreach events, specifically the "An Unforgettable Event" gala and the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's. Lee Grunberg, President and CEO of Integracare, noted that the company has contributed over $100,000 toward research and programming over the past nine years, emphasizing that this training model serves as the backbone of their service delivery. Dave Spedding, CEO of the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, described the deal as a shared investment in creating more compassionate, dementia-friendly communities.
