The partnership arrives as Neste seeks to streamline its IT landscape and bolster operational resilience. HCLTech will leverage its technical expertise to optimize service delivery, ensuring that Neste’s digital capabilities align with the evolving demands of the global energy market. According to Eeva Sipilä, Neste’s CFO, the initial phase focuses on driving efficiency and maintaining business continuity to provide a foundation for long-term growth.
Ajay Bahl, Chief Growth Officer for Energy and Manufacturing at HCLTech, noted that the collaboration is designed to support Neste’s strategic objectives in the renewable sector. HCLTech, which reported consolidated revenues of $14.7 billion for the 12 months ending March 2026, will manage the transition to a more efficient operating model. Neste, which generated EUR 19.0 billion in revenue in 2025, expects its renewable production capacity to reach 6.8 million tons annually by 2027.
