The index utilizes a five-dimensional model—rootedness, driving force, vitality, radiation, and sustainability—to categorize estates into four distinct tiers. Among the 94 assessed producers, 10 were identified as leaders, 35 as premium, 37 as core, and 12 as featured. This cross-continental assessment aims to offer strategic reference value for regions ranging from traditional wine hubs to emerging baijiu production centers.
Langjiu Estate secured its position as the sole Chinese baijiu producer in the leading tier. The estate’s success is attributed to its ability to turn complex production processes into an immersive visitor experience, drawing over 200,000 guests annually. By blending traditional techniques with modern outreach, the facility has established a model for how regional spirits can build resonance with international audiences. The index serves as both a development benchmark and a tool for advancing the integration of global liquor cultures.
