Scott Parrish Named President of Visiting Angels

After eighteen years of shaping the company’s internal operations, Scott Parrish has been appointed President of Visiting Angels. The former Naval Aviator, who joined the home care provider in 2008, will work alongside founder Larry Meigs to oversee the network’s expansion while maintaining its core mission of aging-in-place support.

Scott Parrish Named President of Visiting Angels

Parrish’s transition follows a long tenure as Executive Vice President, where he managed corporate departments and supported the brand’s franchise owners. His professional background includes 21 years of service as an officer in the United States Navy, a period that preceded his entry into the home care sector. Founder Larry Meigs will retain his position as CEO, focusing on the strategic growth of the organization, which now encompasses over 800 locations across the United States, the UK, Mexico, and South Korea.

In his new capacity, Parrish plans to emphasize the integration of technology to assist franchise owners and caregivers while recruiting new partners who align with the company's existing culture. The leadership change comes as the organization marks over 25 years of operation, aiming to balance scale with the personalized service that defines their non-medical care model. According to Meigs, the decision reflects a preference for leadership continuity, citing Parrish’s deep familiarity with the brand’s values and the logistical demands of its nationwide franchise network.
