Operating out of a private terminal in Bedford, the service aims to streamline the transit process by allowing passengers to arrive just 30 minutes before departure. Flights are conducted via Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, each crewed by two pilots. Beyond the flight experience, which includes complimentary refreshments, the company plans to open dedicated passenger lounges at both Hanscom Field and Nantucket Airport. Every flight is carbon neutral through a partnership with 4Air.
Tradewind is currently running three daily round-trip flights to each island destination. Fares begin at $295 for Martha's Vineyard and $330 for Nantucket, excluding taxes and fees. According to David Zipkin, co-founder and chief commercial officer, the move marks a significant milestone in the airline's 25-year history of regional connectivity. Reservations are currently open through the airline’s website, phone line, and various travel platforms.
