The platform functions as an intelligent interface for the company’s existing decision support software. Users can query the system to evaluate infrastructure scenarios, adjust planning criteria, or receive guidance on industry best practices. By automating the transition from raw data to actionable project plans, the tool aims to accelerate critical tasks such as pipe replacement scheduling, lead service line management, and revenue protection initiatives.
"Every person at a utility should be able to turn data into a decision," said Benjamin Schroeder, CTO of VODA.ai. The company intends to shift the technical burden away from manual analysis, enabling teams to justify capital expenditures and report findings to stakeholders with greater speed. The tool is scheduled for a full public demonstration at the 2026 American Water Works Association ACE Conference in Washington, D.C., with a commercial rollout expected later this year.
