The new entity, MegaStream, centers on a closed-loop system that pairs BioMap’s xTrimo foundation models with Harbour BioMed’s Harbour Mice antibody data. This infrastructure is intended to handle complex modalities, such as multispecific antibodies and XDC conjugates, by moving beyond standard protein research. The venture will focus on clinical-stage assets targeting cardiovascular, renal, and oncological conditions, as well as anti-aging therapies.
Central to the operation is an intelligent dry-wet laboratory designed to accelerate validation cycles. By automating the Design-Build-Test-Learn process, the companies expect to increase data accumulation efficiency tenfold, projecting the generation of five petabytes of biological data over the next five years. Jingsong Wang, CEO of Harbour BioMed, and Wei Liu, CEO of BioMap, stated that the collaboration aims to combine their respective data assets and 268-billion-parameter AI engines to shorten the timeline from molecular design to clinical implementation.
