In the summer trials organized by the Norwegian Automobile Federation, the X9 covered 646 kilometers, remaining operational for over 11 hours. This performance pushed it to the top of the leaderboard, with auditors noting the vehicle stood out significantly during the evaluation. Beyond distance, the X9 hit a charging milestone by reaching an 80% battery capacity in just 12 minutes and 55 seconds.
This result mirrors the model's success at the February winter edition of the event, where it also achieved a 12-minute charge despite freezing temperatures. Alex Tang, General Manager of International Business at XPENG, stated that the data validates the company's dual focus on range and charging speed. As the brand expands its presence in Europe, starting with Norway, the X9 serves as a flagship for the company's latest EV architecture.
