The initiative, spearheaded by the Michigan Israel Business Accelerator, formalizes a multi-state Memorandum of Understanding that bridges previously siloed state programs. By sharing market intelligence and coordinating investment missions, the group aims to scale the economic successes already observed in states like Michigan and New York. The framework specifically targets growth in mobility, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and technology sectors, supported by a newly formed Ambassador Network of civic and corporate leaders.
Mark Davidoff, CEO of the Michigan Israel Business Accelerator, noted that the exchange transforms individual state wins into a powerful, nationwide hub. The summit also recognized Laurie Cunnington with the inaugural USIIE Gesher Award for her efforts in fostering these economic ties. With Michigan’s own track record of generating $90 million in economic impact since 2021, the USIIE seeks to replicate that model nationally, positioning the U.S.-Israel partnership as a critical strategic asset for domestic industrial resilience.
