The company’s quarterly revenue reached $4.8 billion, representing a 4% increase as reported and a 5% gain on a constant currency basis. Growth was largely anchored by the performance of the Manpower brand in the United States, alongside a notable turnaround for Experis, which shifted into positive growth territory during the quarter. Northern Europe also emerged as a bright spot, showing strong year-over-year revenue gains and improved operating unit profits.
Despite these gains, the bottom line was pressured by restructuring costs, strategic transformation expenses, and non-cash currency translation losses linked to hyperinflation in Argentina. These factors impacted earnings per share by $0.30. Excluding such items, the company’s adjusted earnings per share reached $1.01, a 24% increase in constant currency. Management expects diluted earnings per share for the fourth quarter to land between $1.03 and $1.13. As Jonas Prising prepares to transition to Executive Chair, the firm continues to prioritize cost-cutting initiatives and digital transformation to maintain momentum in a volatile economic landscape.
