The acquisition reinforces Omega Holdings' focus on the bus, trucking, and specialty vehicle sectors. Randy Rankin, CEO of Omega Holdings, noted that the move is designed to leverage O2 COOL’s design and manufacturing expertise to broaden the firm’s current HVAC offerings. Despite the change in ownership, O2 COOL will maintain its status as a standalone business unit under the Omega Holdings umbrella to ensure continuity for existing suppliers and partners.
Since its founding in 2022, O2 COOL has built a reputation for developing custom HVAC solutions and OEM components from its Texas-based facilities. For Omega Holdings, which currently services over 3,000 customers across 85 countries, this integration represents a commitment to keeping engineering and manufacturing operations within the U.S. The company plans to fold these new technical assets into its broader distribution network, which already spans air conditioning, turbochargers, and sensor technologies for light-duty and off-highway vehicles.
