Dr. Christopher Mallavarapu Launches $1,000 Scholarship for Future PAs

Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduates planning to enter a physician assistant program. To compete for the funding, students are required to submit an original essay addressing how they intend to use their future profession to improve patient outcomes. Submissions should detail the applicant's academic path, career aspirations, and personal experiences that shaped their decision to pursue clinical medicine.

Dr. Mallavarapu, who views physician assistants as essential partners in modern healthcare, created the award to alleviate the financial burden on students entering the field. The selection process weighs academic performance alongside the quality and originality of the required essay. Completed applications must be sent to apply@drchristophermallavarapuscholarship.com no later than June 15, 2027, with the recipient announced on July 15, 2027. Late submissions will not be reviewed.
