Optro Debuts Agentic AI Suite for Enterprise Risk and Compliance

Risk managers face a dual challenge: deploying autonomous AI while maintaining strict oversight of enterprise data. At its CRX conference in San Diego, Optro unveiled a suite of domain-trained agents designed to automate audit, compliance, and third-party risk management while keeping every action logged and audit-ready.

The platform moves beyond generic models, utilizing purpose-built capabilities that function within specific, team-defined guardrails. By grounding AI actions in permissioned context, Optro aims to replace manual, point-in-time risk processes with continuous, real-time monitoring. The new autonomous agents handle tasks ranging from vendor due diligence and framework scoping to the automated intake of AI system records.

Early adopters highlight significant efficiency gains. Reddit’s internal audit team utilized the autonomous testing engine to automate 175 controls, covering over 40 percent of its SOX scope and reducing testing time per control by 60 percent. Similarly, Klaviyo shifted from periodic testing to a year-round model, allowing for earlier issue detection. According to Happy Wang, Optro’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, the platform ensures that every agent decision and model entry remains transparent and verifiable, addressing the primary concern of risk leaders regarding AI governance and data provenance.
