Sigel arrives at the Nashville-based company after a career that includes nearly ten years at the Am Law 100 firm Mintz. His background spans litigation and high-level client relations, alongside stints as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for three life sciences and technology firms. This dual perspective—having served both as outside counsel and as an executive managing internal legal functions—informs his approach to helping firms manage fluctuating workloads.
Latitude President Alex Su emphasized that Sigel’s appointment follows a broader growth trajectory for the firm, which has expanded from six to 20 offices nationwide since 2020. The company, which is globally ranked by Chambers and Partners, aims to leverage Sigel’s deep ties to Boston’s business community to connect corporate legal departments with former Big Law attorneys for short- and long-term engagements. Sigel holds a J.D. and M.B.A. from American University and a B.A. from Middlebury College.
