The Majestic Apartments, a 212-unit development designed by Milbrandt Architects, serves as the centerpiece of this investment. Featuring an Art Deco-inspired brick facade, the structure includes an underground garage with 100 public parking stalls to alleviate downtown congestion. Simultaneously, the company is collaborating with Graham Baba Architects to restore the long-vacant Wenatchee Jailhouse. This 2,736-square-foot site will house a Spanish-style deli and a speakeasy operated by the local Dime Food Group.
Beyond these construction efforts, the developer maintains a deep philanthropic footprint in the region. Recent contributions include a $7.5 million donation to the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center and a $2 million endowment to secure the future of the historic Lake Wenatchee YMCA camp. These initiatives reflect a strategy established by the late founder W. Dean Weidner, who spent nearly two decades fostering growth in the region. According to Development Director Nick Nowotarski, the firm aims to balance the city’s economic expansion with the protection of its unique community character.
