EcoFlow Launches TITAN Series to Streamline Home Energy Storage

Rising utility costs and grid instability have pushed EcoFlow to introduce its TITAN energy ecosystem, a modular power solution aiming to simplify home energy independence. By integrating smart consumption software with scalable battery hardware, the company intends to transition residential backup from an emergency-only tool to a daily cost-saving utility.

EcoFlow Launches TITAN Series to Streamline Home Energy Storage

The TITAN series features three distinct models—the 5000 Plus, 5000, and 5000 Classic—all utilizing 40160 tabless LFP cells designed to balance high-rate output with a compact 5kWh footprint. The flagship 5000 Plus model generates 7.2kW of output, sufficient to power heavy appliances like central air conditioning, with the capacity to surge to 10kW when paired with existing solar arrays. Users can scale their storage in 5kWh increments, reaching up to 30kWh total capacity as household demands fluctuate.

Central to the system’s efficiency is the Smart Home Panel 10, which integrates grid, solar, and battery inputs without requiring a full electrical panel replacement. The system employs the OASIS 3.0 ecosystem to automate energy usage, prioritizing solar power and drawing from the grid only during off-peak, lower-cost windows. EcoFlow has focused on reducing installation friction by pre-wiring components, claiming this approach cuts field labor by 80% and allows for system deployment within seven days.

Brian Essenmacher, Head of U.S. Business Development, noted that the series addresses the traditional trade-off between power and complexity. The units are available starting October 13, with standalone pricing beginning in the $2,000 range for the Classic model and reaching the $7,000 range for the 5000 Plus inclusive of panels and installation.
