Dr. Hillyer, who has led the institution since 2009, will transition into the role of Special Advisor to the Board of Trustees. His tenure was marked by the transformation of the center into a diversified life sciences enterprise, including the establishment of the Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute’s advanced genomics work and the founding of a $50 million investment fund, NYBC Ventures.
