Shoer arrives with a mandate to refine organizational effectiveness and talent development across a rapidly expanding health system. Her portfolio includes managing human resources, talent acquisition, and leadership growth programs, with a specific focus on integrating AI-enabled workforce solutions to simplify internal operations. She steps into the role as the organization seeks to solidify its reputation as a top-tier employer for healthcare professionals in Arizona.

Catherine Codispoti, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, noted that Shoer’s track record in managing complex global transformations will be vital as the hospital system continues its growth trajectory. For her part, Shoer emphasized that the move represents a pivot toward mission-driven work, citing a desire to support the staff directly responsible for patient care. She succeeds Steve Schuster, who is retiring after an eight-year tenure that included serving as Interim Chief Human Resources Officer.
