Attorney David L. Roach to Lead Entrepreneurship Boot Camp in Buffalo

The "Starting and Managing Your Own Business" boot camp covers essential ground for entrepreneurs, including business planning, marketing strategies, and navigating complex funding sources. Held at the university’s Women's Business Center, the session provides a practical framework for both new startups and young companies looking to stabilize their operations. Registration is currently open through the SCORE Western NY website, with early bird pricing available until November 10.

For Roach, this workshop represents a continuation of a forty-year commitment to local business education. Since 1981, he has delivered over 300 presentations on startup law and management. His involvement with the Buffalo small business community is extensive, ranging from his tenure on the Small Business Administration’s District Director’s Advisory Council to his current role leading monthly "Strive and Thrive" workshops at Buffalo State. A Harvard Law School alumnus and former faculty member at Canisius, Roach brings a global perspective to local law, having taught business ethics and law internationally as a Fulbright Specialist.
