The collaboration marks a significant shift from AI experimentation to large-scale deployment. HCLTech will deploy Claude, Cowork, and Claude Code across its service offerings, while its software division, HCLSoftware, will integrate these models directly into enterprise products like HCL BigFix and HCL AppScan. By creating a secure sandbox environment, the firm aims to assist clients in adopting AI-native engineering practices and managing the organizational transition required for autonomous systems.
Anthropic’s technology will also be woven into HCLTech’s AI Force platform, targeting IT support, code remediation, and digital employee services. These workflows are designed to maintain human oversight, ensuring that automated changes remain within strict policy parameters. Daniela Amodei, Co-founder and President of Anthropic, emphasized that the partnership is intended to build the necessary trust for sensitive sectors, including banking, healthcare, and telecommunications.
