This deal marks a continuation of the partnership between the two companies, following Valmet's previous installation of the PM 8 line at the same industrial site. According to Li Jianshe, Chairman of Anhui Linping, the investment is designed to improve resource efficiency and expand the firm's product portfolio. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the order was officially booked into Valmet’s third-quarter results for 2026.
The scope of the delivery covers the entire production process from the headbox to the winder, utilizing advanced layering gap technology to optimize sheet formation. To maintain stability during high-speed operation, the machine incorporates a press with a center roll and closed sheet transfer systems. Valmet will also provide a full suite of automation solutions, digital services, and spare parts to support the mill’s transition toward more autonomous operations.
