The upcoming National Women's Leadership Conference will serve as the stage for this selection, highlighting a group that spans industries from emergency management to insurance and healthcare. The honorees include Ardis Bazyn of California, Wendy Bowser and Holly Pritchard from Texas, Beverly Eddy of Maryland, Anita Eno of Alabama, Shenice Hall of South Carolina, Leslie Koetters of Illinois, Dawn Lunt and Tracey Pirozzi of Florida, and Karen Taylor-Moody of Georgia.
These women represent the diverse scope of the association, which has supported professional development since its founding in 1949. During the October 1 luncheon, the group will narrow the field to name the 2027 American Business Woman of the Year. The winner will succeed current titleholder J Franco, who has spent the past year serving as the organization’s national ambassador. The event also features a keynote address by NASCAR driver and STEM advocate Julia Landauer, marking a central moment for the organization’s annual gathering of entrepreneurs and managers.
