The integration of BHA brings a network of offices in Ferriday, Harahan, Belle Chasse, and Baton Rouge into the Aventia fold. BHA has long served as a fixture in Central and Gulf South Louisiana, specializing in public works, community development, and disaster resilience projects. For Aventia, which currently supports clients in over 40 states with a staff of 400, this move secures a deep bench of technical specialists with established public sector relationships.
Dirk Applegate, CEO of Aventia, noted that the firm’s technical experience complements existing service lines, allowing for a broader suite of infrastructure solutions. Bryant Hammett Jr., who led the Louisiana firm since its inception in 1984, stated that the partnership provides the resources to scale operations while maintaining the localized service model that defined the company’s regional reputation. While financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the acquisition aligns with the broader strategy of Bernhard Capital Partners to consolidate expertise within the essential infrastructure and environmental services sectors.
