National Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame Opens 2027 Nominations

The upcoming induction is scheduled for June 12, 2027, at the Central Bank Center in Lexington. With GALLS returning as the presenting sponsor, organizers aim to highlight individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, courage, and service. According to executive director Megan Stockburger, the process provides families, departments, and communities a vital avenue to ensure that stories of sacrifice and professional impact are preserved for future generations.

Submissions are currently accepted via the organization's website. The Hall of Fame recognizes candidates across several categories, including the Distinguished Service Award, the Courage in Service Award, and the K9 Award for exceptional canine teams. Additionally, The McDavid Group Never Forgotten Award honors the legacies of those whose contributions remain central to the profession's history. By expanding the reach of these awards, the institution seeks to solidify its commitment to honoring the diverse achievements of law enforcement personnel nationwide.
