The initiative centers on integrating the ZAPP Edge platform with Vyne Trellis, the proprietary revenue cycle management system used by Vyne Dental. By consolidating payment data from more than 550 insurance payers into a single portal, the companies intend to eliminate the administrative burden of manual reconciliation. Steve Roberts, CEO of Vyne Dental, noted that current reliance on paper-based systems forces office teams to spend excessive time tracking down payments rather than focusing on patient care.
Beyond simple digitization, the platform provides deeper visibility into claim performance and denial trends. Yusuf Qasim, President of Payments Optimization at Zelis, emphasized that the goal is to bridge the gap between fragmented electronic connections and actionable financial data. Enrollment for participating practices is scheduled to begin in the coming months, with a wider rollout slated for late 2026. This shift marks a significant move to modernize the financial infrastructure of the dental industry, which has historically lagged behind other medical sectors in payment automation.
