Cracker Barrel Launches Fall Menu with Chicken Deals and Kids' Toys

The new menu offerings address the time crunch families face each autumn. The $9.99 chicken deal includes both a classic entrée with two sides and a sandwich version served on a buttermilk bun. Beyond the standard breaded chicken, the restaurant is introducing "Loaded" variations topped with bacon and maple glaze, as well as "Sauced" versions featuring flavors like Nashville Hot and honey butter.

Breakfast options are also shifting toward seasonal themes, with the addition of Sweet Cream Caramel Apple Pancakes and French Toast, both accompanied by fried cinnamon apples. These menu items will be available through October 18. Complementing the food, the chain is reviving its kids' toy promotion from August 18 through September 7. Families purchasing an adult entrée and a Kid's Meal during this window will receive a collectible B'loonie Petz toy or a $5 discount on select retail items from the Old Country Store.

Sarah Moore, Chief Marketing Officer at Cracker Barrel, noted that the company aims to simplify mealtime logistics during a period when school and extracurricular activities often disrupt traditional family dining. The effort aligns with the brand's broader strategy to use food and value as a means to encourage communal dining during high-stress weeks.
